We pride ourselves on offering great digitisation and conversion with
added features at an affordable price.
VHS to DVD
There are two pricing guides. If you simply want a VHS copied to DVD we have a simple pricing policy.
£30 per tape fully inclusive. You will need to send a cheque with your VHS. Special return delivery is extra.
Basic Conversion and Encoding Pricing
If the content needs editing/encoding to a file or digitally enhancing then it needs to go through our computers: Each job is priced individually, so please contact
us for a detailed quote. There are many factors affecting price
and we will do our best to offer you the best advice and prices we can.
Charges are calculated based on the following:
- Length and format of your source material
- Length and number of 'clips' (sections of video to be used)
- Number of export formats required
(Quicktime, Real Video, Windows Media Video, Flash Video, Mpeg,
Video CD, DVD)
- Number of exported data rates
(Multiple file sizes for the user to choose based on their internet
connection)
Example:
Usually clips require editing but as a rough guideline if a clip
is under 3 minutes and requires absolutely no editing -
Digitisation onto System: £40
Export of 1st File £10 - 20 (depending on
length and format)
Each file thereafter £5 - £10
Delivery - burning onto on CD £10
Return of originals and Postage and Packing £5
For masters on Beta, DigiBeta or any other broadcast quality format
please contact us for details of any additional costs.
Crews and Equipment
Provision of Camera crew to shoot sections for multimedia CD ROM,
for streaming video, VHS, DVD or Video CD. Specification and pricing
upon request.
Editing, Titling and Compositing
Editing on Non linear realtime AVID system. Rates upon request. Special rates for showreels and independent TV producers.
Includes:
- Editor
- Digitistation of source material
- Editing compositing and titling
- Export and encoding
- Delivery on single format or master for encoding
